Upcoming Ladies Fellowship – Beginning Jan 5, every other Friday, 1:00-3:00 in homes.
We plan to resume our ladies fellowship in January. The book I have chosen for us to follow continues the theme of our fall meetings – the personal nature of God. The book is Intimate Moments with the Savior by Ken Gire. In this book, Ken has chosen 17 one on one encounters of Jesus ministering to a variety of people. The book begins with Jesus' birth and ends with His restoration of Peter. Each chapter starts with the Scripture passage, followed by a prose version of the encounter, and ends with a prayer of application. Very easy to read but shows the tender caring ministry of our Lord and Savior.
My hopes for this time together
1. Fellowship. We’ll gather to glean encouragement from God’s word, sharing insights, and praying for one another.
2. Anticipate Easter. We will focus on the life and ministry of Christ as Easter approaches April 8, 2007.
3. Invite others to come. I have always been amazed at the effectiveness of the gospels studies to sharing the plan of salvation. If you know someone who may benefit from this study and fellowship, feel free to invite them to this group. Visitors are always welcome!
Intimate Moments with the Savior cost $12.00 each, and I hope to have extras for visitors.

Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on him and receive eternal life. Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen. 1 Timothy 1:15-17
